Deborah ONeal is licensed as a mental health counselor in Florida and Pennsylvania. She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the College of New Jersey and a master’s in clinical counseling from La Salle University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her career has spanned several different areas in psychology. Deb worked for Educational Testing Service in the areas of statistical research and essay testing. After starting graduate school in Philadelphia, she accepted a position as staff development and training manager at the Law School Admission Council in PA. During graduate school, she worked with ADHD children, chronic and terminal illness clients, and began working with couples. In the first years after coming to Florida she worked with foster children, neglected and abused children, and schizophrenic adults, as well as individual, couples and family therapy in her private practice. Currently, she is returning to work after a three-year absence due to health challenges. Last year in June 2023, Deb received a great gift from an anonymous bone marrow donor and is happy to be able to work again..as a leukemia survivor. Remember all things are possible.
